Fort Benton lies along the Montana Trail 406, a 1,600+ mile, multi-discipline, ultra-long trail connecting Glacier National Park to Fort Union. Designed for biking, hiking, and paddling, it features 9 designated bike sections, including rugged gravel roads, mountain passes, and historic crossings, showcasing Montana’s diverse landscapes.
